Custom fabrication studio

We think.
Then we machine it.

Michael + Thane design and build one-of-a-kind products — cut, carved and printed in-house on CNC mills, lasers, 3D printers and a full wood shop.

The shop

Four ways we cut,
carve and grow an idea

CNC Machining

3-axis milling in hardwood, aluminum and brass. Tolerances tight enough to press-fit, finishes clean enough to leave raw.

DETAIL-A · SPINDLE

Laser Cutting

Crisp profiles and engraving on wood, acrylic and leather — logos, inlays, and detail work down to the hairline.

DETAIL-B · BEAM

3D Printing

Rapid prototypes and finished parts, layer by layer. If it can't be cut, it gets printed — sometimes both in one piece.

DETAIL-C · FILAMENT

Fine Woodworking

Walnut, teak and other exotic hardwoods, joined and hand-finished with natural oil. The warm half of every MT build.

SECTION B-B · GRAIN

Design intent

Every build starts
on paper

Blending precision engineering with creative thinking — a balance of technology, craftsmanship and vision. Here's the path a piece takes through the shop:

  1. Sketch. Rough concept, real proportions, honest dimensions.
  2. Model. CAD it, tolerance it, argue about it over coffee.
  3. Machine. CNC, laser or printer — whichever tool the idea asks for.
  4. Finish. Sand, oil, brush, assemble. Ship it proud.

Every piece is a small run or a one-off. If you can describe it, we can probably machine it.

Monogram integration

The M is Michael.
The T is Thane.

Father-and-son makers with two sides of the same brain: the warm grain of hand-finished hardwood and the cold precision of a machined tool tip. Michael brings the wood shop. Thane brings the machines. Every MT Minds piece carries both signatures — structure, precision, innovation.

We think. Then we make it real.
